Our passion is delivering an experience, not just a product. By focusing on one project at a time, we lead with honesty, respect, and genuine care at every step.
The Story
Joe Tarqueno, owner of Plumb Perfect Builders, was introduced to the trades at a young age while working alongside his father, a union plumber in the Midwest. Those early years (riding backhoes, soldering pipes, and rodding sewers) instilled a tireless work ethic and a love for craftsmanship that still guides every project today.
After earning a finance degree from DePaul University and building a ten-year career in finance and accounting, a short layoff brought Joe back to construction. A summer with a general contractor reignited his passion for remodeling, and in 2008 he launched Nail It Innovations. That entrepreneurial leap laid the groundwork for the client-focused experience Plumb Perfect Builders is known for today.
In 2020, Joe and his wife Monica relocated to the Pacific Northwest with their dogs, Luke and Logan. While Monica advanced in the nuclear power industry, Joe founded Plumb Perfect Builders. Recognized with multiple remodeling excellence awards, he maintains professional credentials including Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM) and Schluter waterproofing certifications, and actively serves organizations such as NARI, MBAKS, NAHB, BIAW, and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce.
Adventure and creativity fuel Joe outside the jobsite. He and his family pursue epic hikes such as the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, and he expresses his artistic side through commissioned charcoal portraits and nature photography. Whether sailing the Puget Sound or scuba diving below its surface, Joe brings the same curiosity and dedication that shape every Plumb Perfect Builders project.
